PLI Discover PLUS Trial Subscription
Practicing Law Institute (PLI) publications are created in support of their continuing legal education programs. Besides providing timely guidance to practitioners, they are a great source for finding out what is new and identifying developing areas and issues in law.
Our users now have access to PLI Discover PLUS which includes the Practicing Law Institute’s 110 legal treatises, 705 course handbooks, 1156 forms and 260 CLE course transcripts. In an effort to gain wider exposure for their materials and to encourage the use of PLI’s e-resources in the legal academic environment, PLI is partnering with NELLCO, a major law-library consortium, to make this offer possible. Affiliates of the Case Western Reserve School of Law will have access to this trial subscription through January 31, 2014. Here is a quick guide to Getting Started.
Case Western Reserve School of Law users already have access to selected PLI treatises via our Bloomberg Law subscription. Access to those treatises will continue, however, the PLI Discover PLUS platform provides access to much more PLI content. Westlaw used to provide access to the coursebooks and treatises, but dropped their license agreement with PLI.
Check it out. We will survey faculty and students during the fall for comments on the value of continuing this subscription. Need help using PLI materials on PLI Discover PLUS or Bloomberg Law? See us at the Law Library reference desk or contact us at: email@example.com or 216-368-5206.
