Classroom Technology
Megan Allen (x5223, mja5), the library’s Electronic Services and Training Librarian, is a specialist in coordinating innovative and effective use of technology to support faculty instruction. She is available for consultation regarding any use of digital technologies to augment law-school teaching, whether inside the classroom or remotely.
Blackboard (course management platform)
Contact Ms. Allen to arrange training or consultation, for yourself or your faculty assistant, regarding your Blackboard course management website.
Clickers
The Law Library supports the use of Turning Point audience response solutions for interactive classroom polling, quizzes, surveys, etc. and provides “clicker” hardware for this system. Law faculty may contact Ms. Allen for additional information. (Students may check out “clickers” for the semester at the Law Library’s Circulation Desk.) More detail on Clickers.
Smartboards
Contact Megan Allen to arrange training on using Smart Board and associated software in the classroom. Megan Allen supports the the use of all software used on the classroom Smart Boards.
Classroom Recording
Contact Dave Wright (x3958) or Tim Lynch (x5251) from the Audio Visual Department to for support of all classroom technology including audio amplification, video projection, and Smart Boards. AV also provides setup for conferences, special events, webcast, podcasts, and video conferences.
